About the position:

We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring were compliant with all tax regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions including cash transactions

  • Prepare budget forecasts

  • Publish financial statements on time

  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

  • Ensure timely bank payments

  • Manage taxes & social insurance files

  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

  • Report on the companys financial health and liquidity

  • Audit financial transactions and documents

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance

  • Ensure compliance with financial standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control

  • Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines

  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information

  • Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests

  • Communicate with the legal accounting office

  • Use relevant online softwares

  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

Skills:

  • Experience: 0 3 years

  • BS/MS degree in Accounting, Finance or a related subject

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures and standards

  • Demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables

  • Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation

  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
