About The Position

Our Team is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a dedicated Security Engineer Intern to join our Team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with professionals and gain hands-on experience in securing systems, monitoring threats, and supporting security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures.

• Help configure and manage security tools, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

• Research and stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.

• Document security incidents and create detailed reports for analysis.

• Enhance the organization’s security posture.

Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of network and system security principles.

• Familiarity with operating systems like Linux.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools such as firewalls.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash.

• Knowledge of ethical hacking and penetration testing.

• Familiarity with compliance standards.

• Certification in cybersecurity fundamentals (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
